Students today are faced with unprecedented challenges determining fact from fake as they are bombarded with misinformation and disinformation through conventional and social media. As artificial intelligence becomes more prevalent and advanced, these challenges will only get more difficult and complex. Tap into 250+ years of Britannica expertise as a trusted source of information as we explore the challenges presented to students by increasingly advanced AI, discuss key fundamentals of teaching media literacy, navigate concepts of misinformation and disinformation, and develop an action plan to help students determine fact from fake.
