Michele Beresford grew up in Michigan. She is a children's and middle school book author, a music teacher and a harpist. When she isn't working on a new song or story, Michele can be found taking orders from her cat, Gigi or leaving cake out for the fairies in her garden. She lives in Southeast Detroit with her family and is the author of Huggy, Muggy Do (children's), Leviathan Jones and the Sea Witch (tween novel) and the new Leviathan Jones and the Sea Witch Graphic Novel (part 1).
